Size guide

The best way to find your correct size is to get the size of your daywear clothing and then check it against our chart below. We make it easy by making our garments X-Small, Small, Medium, Large or X-Large. For example if you're a Size 12 then we recommend a Medium.

The greatest thing about buying sleepwear online is that you can't go wrong with sizing if you follow this chart. Papinelle sleepwear is designed with 'easy-fit' features such as elastic waistbands or adjustable straps to ensure that they fit a majority of figure types.

If you want to double-check your size take a moment to measure yourself and then use these measurements to choose the correct Papinelle size for you.

Papinelle takes great care in ensuring all sizes are to New Zealand standards and corresponding to the size chart below.

MEASURING TIPS:

Measure the fullest part of the bust and hips. Keep the tape measure firm, but not tight and measure over your undergarment.

HOW TO MEASURE:

  • Bust: Measure around the upper body, under the armpits and over the fullest part of your bust.
  • Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist, and bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waistline.
  • Hips: measure around the fullest / widest part of your hips.

    Short Sleeves

    Good quality fabric. I measured myself before purchasing. The shelf bra itself fits perfectly and is very comfortable to wear as an all day work tee. The outside fabric that sits over the shelf bra bulges at the top by the scoop neckline. It’s as if there is too much fabric there. I’m a 12B bra and this tee fits like I need a bigger bust to stretch the fabric over the shelf bra.

    The sleeves are short which as a work tee is actually good so I’m not having to push the sleeves up throughout the day, but if you have long arms, these sleeves will be too short. My height is 165cm and I’m considered fairly standard in height & weight so my arms are not oddly short.

    Excessive shrinking in cold water

    The material is very thick and it shrinks a lot even when washed in cold water.
