MEASURING TIPS:

Measure the fullest part of the bust and hips. Keep the tape measure firm, but not tight and measure over your undergarment.

HOW TO MEASURE:

Bust: Measure around the upper body, under the armpits and over the fullest part of your bust.
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist, and bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waistline.
Hips: measure around the fullest / widest part of your hips.

Gorgeous but.....
I love this fabric but the shorts are not for people with an hourglass figure. The hipster shorts ride up to my smaller wast and are a bit too crotch hugging. With these shorts I need to size up, while to top is nice and generous.
Papinelle need to describe the waistline of boxers as part of the description.

However, we are truly sorry that the fit of the shorts did not work well for your hourglass figure, causing them to ride up to your smaller waist and be "crotch hugging." We appreciate you noting that you would need to size up in the shorts, while the top fits nicely.

We completely understand your frustration and agree that more clarity is needed in our product descriptions. We will definitely pass on your strong suggestion to our product and web teams to clearly describe the waistline (rise/cut) of all boxer/shorts styles as part of the online product description.
