Essential Daily Face Oil
with Prickly Pear Seed Oil
+ For Youth

WONDER is a single-origin luxury face oil harvested from cold-pressed prickly pear seeds with grounding notes of cedarwood and patchouli. The nutrient-dense lightweight oil is rich in natural antioxidant Vitamin E to help protect against free radicals and improve microcirculation within the skin. Linoleic acid, an omega-6 essential fatty acid, increases cell turnover, encourages new collagen production, and acts as a natural anti-aging treatment. Powerful Vitamin K helps brighten the skin for a youthful and radiant complexion.

Our prickly pear seed oil is harvested in the heart of Tunisia, North Africa bordering the Mediterranean Sea and Sahara Desert. The 198 hectare farm is certified by ECOCERT under the COSMOS standard; an independent European certification that guarantees the traceability and transparency of natural and organic ingredients.

The tiny seeds that dot the pulp of the prickly pear fruit contain only 5% oil. The fruit is harvested by hand and the seeds are carefully separated from the pulp, washed, dried and stored in a cool, dry place. In small batches, the seeds are cold- pressed to extract the oil and preserve the active ingredients. Sustainably harvesting and seeding 1000kg of prickly pears yield only one litre of precious oil.

Place 3-5 drops of WONDER into palms and press gently into cleansed skin on the face and neck. For best results, use WONDER as part of a clean, non-toxic skincare routine morning and night.

We love our planet

All our orders are transported and stored in compostable bags by The Better Packaging Company. Their comPOLY bags are made from corn starch (PLA) with a synthetic polymer (PBAT). They have received the Australian Standard, AS5810 for composability as well as the OK Compost Home / Vincotte and Seedling standards. This means they can be composted at home or in a commercial composting facility.

The Better Packaging Company claims that this combination of materials represents a 60% reduction in CO emissions compared to traditional plastics while being non-toxic and containing no Phthalate or Bisphenol A (BPA). For our customer facing packaging we use two options. The first is our carbon neutral mailer bag, also by The Better Packaging Company. Called their ØPACK, it is made from approximately 80% Calcium Carbonate sourced from quarry waste and approximately 20% non-toxic recycled resin (HDPE). Its production uses renewable energy, zero water, no acid or bleaches while creating zero pollution in a carbon neutral process. We encourage customers to reuse these bags, however at the end of their life they can be recycled with soft plastics. For our larger customer facing orders, we use custom made boxes made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified cardboard that are manufactured here in New Zealand from a high percentage of recycled card. FSC guarantees that the materials are coming from trees grown in responsibly managed forests.

Sustainability

Social Responsibility

As a company we are committed to ensuring we operate in an environmentally responsible way. We are far from perfect, but WE REALLY CARE! We believe that every small bit helps, and we are actively taking steps to increase sustainability and reduce our footprint both behind the scenes in sourcing and manufacturing, as well as what our customers take home.

Our aim is to source beautiful, sustainable fabrics that are the premium quality our customers expect.

Every decision we make, we consider the impact on the environment. Some of our initiatives include reducing our plastic consumption by up to 70% by not individually bagging our garments coming from our factory. We are working on a biodegradable plastic for the bags we do use.
